Fast great service but not sure the quality of item since the hubby did don’t get his elk!I was able to quarter and fit an entire full grown bull (cattle) in these four bags out in the pasture. Very good value for the money and great to have on hand. Very easy to wash and store.Suitable for deer too; can fit two hind quarters of an average sized whitetail into one bag, or split them up with plenty of room to spare. I’ve reused Alaska Games bags for 3-4 seasons, and the only reason I’ve had to replace is because I’m careless and cut them short instead of bothering to untie the knots I tie in them.I’ve tied two bags together, 1/2 an average sized whitetail doe in each, and slung them over my shoulders to carry out of thick woods - no problem. Great bags.Since I am at the beginning of my Hunting Expedition and have not had a chance to use these it is difficult to provide an overall rating for these game bags. But so far they seem somewhat lightweight and look like that they would adorable and hold up to the rigors of hauling quartered game down the mountain. As long as they keep the dirt away and flies from laying eggs on the meat that will be the real test! I hope I get a chance to test them soon!So this is a little different of a typical review because I cannot say that I used the ones I've purchased yet. However, I went on recent hunting trip who bought the exact same bags (he used the link I sent him to purchase the same bags). He filled his moose tag and we used these bags for each quarter and he had some extras of a different brand for the scrap bag. The bags worked great. They held together when lifting a 150lb moose quarter and keep the meat aerated and dry. Once we butchered and packaged the meat up, he washed the bags in his washing machine and they came out just like new. The other brand bag had some staining from the blood. These bags are great I’ve put multiple elk and deer in my original set. They wash up nicely and look like new. Perfect set for an entire Elk. The large bag will cover an entire deer as well. Great combo thank youBeen using these for years. Every seasoned hunter knows that there is not much other alternative to a durable game bag than these guys. This particular size says Moose, Elk, Caribu, but I'm certain the next size down works fine for elk quarters--two years ago I used a set of these that I know for certain were smaller (because they fit in my bag much easier and I know they came in a smaller packaging) and they fit nice sized bull elk quarters just fine. This particular size is huge, and is definitely roomy for an elk quarter, which is a plus, but if you're packing in and need less weight, I recommend considering the next size down. The smaller ones will definitely cover the meat portions of the quarters, with perhaps just the bones sticking out, which I find to be an acceptable trade off to less weight and space in my day pack.these game bags work perfectly
