Ordered these about a year ago. I vacuum about once a day and change the bag once a month. Not sure how often the bag is meant to be changed but the suction never seems compromised (we have 3 boys and a dog). There is never as much as a speck of dirt in the cavity of the miele so I am sure that they are air tight! The bags have a fabric feel although it is not the exact fabric feel of the Miele brand bags. Great product at a great price!
